F. A covenant can mean a commitment. I made a huge covenant to God and to my religion when I was confirmed. In the Catholic Church, we are confirmed when we are around 14 or 15 years old. I made my Confirmation at the beginning of this year which required me to attend many religious classes and to perform many acts of community service. This was a big covenant that I made, because unlike Baptism, Confirmation is something you can choose for yourself and therefore when I made my Confirmation it was a big responsibility because I was basically promising myself to God. After we make our Confirmation we are seen as an adult in the church. I am glad that I have this covenant between myself and God.
